Lighting up Northland Xmas 2019
It has been a busy week in the Knotty Wood workshop, but we still found time to cut a couple of Props for the Xmas show.
My Wife has found an ingenious way to project images onto the plywood ready for me to cut out.
Start by tracing your image on clear plastic (We used carbon paper).
This Home made projector was made using a "Top Hat" that we acquired from a movie preview, But you should be able to find them at Arther's Emporium or a $2 store. We used the torch on the phone to project it onto a piece of plywood.
This is the projected image.
LED'S......... We are still waiting for some smart LEDs to arrive, We have ordered some WS2811 5volt smart leds as soon as they arrive and we have tested their suitability we will offer them to you at a very reasonable price.
I will be launching a new website for us so that you can see what is available, Also I have secured a Print discount if you want to enlarge your images and trace them out by hand, More details soon.
On a lighter note I have started playing in Vixenlights (not as easy as I thought Lol) but have managed to load a picture of the house and get some light string dancing around,
To give you an idea of what you can do, here is a video some lights in Karaka South Auckland.
Well that's about it for this week, Hope we managed to get some creative juices flowing, If you need help or advice don't hesitate to call us 021 0227 4224 or Email firstname.lastname@example.org
Have a FANTASTIC week, See you next Monday
